A Legacy of Support
and Empowerment

Established in 1982 and registered as a charity in 1987, the Eritrean Relief Association UK (ERA-UK) has a long history of providing aid to those affected by drought, war, and displacement in Eritrea. Until 1988, ERA-UK also supported Eritreans in the UK. Today, it continues to advocate for Eritreans both locally and abroad, empowering communities through partnerships and following Eritrea's national policy of self-reliance.

Bedduho Project for HIV-Affected Mothers and Children in Eritrea

The Bedduho Project, in partnership with ERA UK and Eritrea’s Ministry of Health, supported HIV-positive mothers by providing milk supplements and monitoring child growth. It improved infant health, reduce stigma, and set a model for compassionate, data-driven care.
